2nd Performersion International 2021 - Day 3

Over the last weeks and months, artists, coders and audiences have tested out and refined an impressive number of completely new formats. From intimate 1:1 dialogues to events with up to 3,000 visitors in one space and from one-week-long digital endurance performances to 15-second video clips: the formats abandon the unities of time, space, performers and audience. The artistic and technical knowledge that has been newly acquired and exchanged in doing so is enormous.

On April 23, you can build or modify digital worlds yourselves during two digital and one analog workshop to create a space for performances and rehearsals. Rehearsing and performing together in VR can be tried out with two state-of-the-art headsets.

Rehearsing and Performing Together in VR
For each session, we will offer two people in separate rooms, each provided with a state-of-the-art VR headset, the opportunity to meet in VR and try out a variety of digital spaces.  This event is strictly contact-free. Both people are respectively alone in a well-ventilated room. The headsets will be disinfected before each session. The instructions will initially be provided via telephone and then directly in the VR spaces.

The events and experiences offered during the first Performersion event in February of this year were booked out very quickly, which is why we strongly recommend that you register as early as possible and let us know which days and which workshops you would like to attend: performersion [at] pap-berlin.de.
